Community Outreach

 

The Cayman Pharmacists’ Association (CPA) is dedicated to promoting public health and wellness through meaningful community outreach initiatives. Our members actively participate in health fairs, school presentations, chronic disease awareness campaigns, and medication safety drives aimed at educating the public about responsible medicine use and preventive healthcare. By partnering with the Ministry of Health, local healthcare providers, and community organizations, CPA continues to demonstrate the vital role of pharmacists in improving health outcomes across the Cayman Islands. Through service, education, and compassion, we strive to make pharmacy care accessible, trusted, and transformative in every community we serve.

 

Our Ongoing Initiatives

 

In addition to outreach events, CPA proudly supports the community through several annual programs that reflect our commitment to social responsibility and professional excellence:

💝 CAYS Foundation Support: CPA makes an annual donation to the CAYS Foundation Children’s Homes, helping to improve the lives of vulnerable youth through education, care, and empowerment.

 

💊 Medication Safety Education Sessions: Our members conduct regular training sessions for caregivers and staff at the CAYS Homes, promoting safe medication practices and awareness about proper storage and administration.

 

🎓 Annual Scholarship Fund: Each year, CPA awards a scholarship grant to a deserving pharmacy student or healthcare aspirant, encouraging academic achievement and leadership in the pharmaceutical sciences. We welcome all prospective candidates to unlock their potential by applying during the application period.
